You know that your water heater is acting up when hot water faucet fails to summon hot water and you see puddles of a leak near the water heater and the tank starts emitting strange gurgling sounds. Typical water heater problems include a leaking tank, not enough hot water, water that is too hot, water that is not hot enough, strange noises in the tank, and discolored water. If you smell gas near the water heater, shut off the pilot light, close the gas shutoff valve, and call your gas utility for assistance. This is probably due to a gas leak in the heating system.

Water heater services encompass electric, gas, oil, heat pump, geothermal heat-pump, solar and coal water heaters and the services provided are such as water heater installation and repair and hot water replacement,  as well as repair and maintenance from all the above mentioned water heaters. Water heaters are some of the commonly used household appliances and fixtures. Sediment can build up over time at the bottom of your heater if there is no quality water treatment system. Periodically draining the water from your water heater will help remove sediment and extend the life of your water heater as well as increase its performance. Not only is the sediment an issue, you would also have to inspect your water heater burner; as this is a good way of checking the flame under the heater. The flame should appear blue with yellow tips, if it's mostly yellow or if there's a layer of soot and carbon the flue ways might be clogged.

When repairing or replacing a water heater there are many building and safety issues to be considered as well as the gases and electricity. If any improper technique or wrong installation is done, this will lead to water leaks, inconsistent hot water, property damage, personal injury, and even the possibility of voiding the water heater warranty. Never attempt to fix a water heater on your own as not only inflicting further damage to the heater is your concern, you should also worry about the elements that are used to power a heater such as gas and electricity since anything done wrongly, can results in bigger damage.
